A day to say "Thanks"

In spite of the current economic problems and unclear future I think we must all agree that we actually have pretty good lives. We may cut back on luxury goods and entertainment spending but most of us will not become destitute. We still have the freedom to make our own decisions and thus be in charge of our destinies. I think that this is one of those days we must remember and acknowledge those responsible for our freedom.

Thank a veteran. We owe them.

Advice to an Old Guy ...

An old guy (not in the best of shape) was working out in the gym when he
spotted a sweet young gal. He asked the trainer that was nearby, "What
machine in here should I use to impress that sweet thing over there?"

The trainer looked him up and down and said "I would try the ATM in the lobby".

Diversity

Since it is no longer "politically correct" to direct a joke at any one racial or ethnic minority, you might want to consider this one:

An Englishman, a Scotsman, an Irishman, a Welshman, a Latvian, a Turk, an Aussie, a German, an American, an Egyptian, a Japanese, a Mexican, a Spaniard, a Russian, a Pole, a Lithuanian, a Swede, a Finn, an Israeli, a Romanian, a Bulgarian, a Serb, a Swiss, a Greek, a Singaporean, an Italian, a Norwegian, an African, a Libyan, a Muslim, a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Christian, and an atheist all went together to a night club one evening.

The bouncer said, "Sorry, I can't let you in without a Thai..."
